From The Beginning, LIVING WORD FELLOWSHIP has always placed a high priority on ministering to our children and continues to do so. We believe that ministering to the children ministers to the entire family.
Sunday Morning
 |
Our Sunday morning Children's Ministry focuses on teaching, with a "Sunday School" format including Bible stories, doctrinal study, scripture memorization, etc. The classes and age groups are as follows: |
| Nursery (Infants - 18 months) |

These children are with their teachers from 9:30 AM until adult services end. Toddlers and Beginners have their own time of worship, enjoy snacks, crafts, teaching, etc. in their own classrooms. |

| Kindergarten (5 yrs) |

These children meet with the adult congregation for the praise, worship, and offering portion of the service, then are dismissed to their respective classrooms for age-level teaching while the Pastor teaches/preaches to the remaining congregation. |

Wednesday Evening
Our Wednesday night Children's Ministry focuses on training, with a more "hands-on" approach to ministry and a faster-paced agenda including puppets, videos, live action skits, object lessons, etc. The children have the opportunity to commit to active ministry as greeters, ushers, puppeteers and other areas of service. The age groups are as follows:

Both groups have a lively time of praise & worship as well as prayer time. |
| SuperChurch (1st - 6th Grades) |
 On Wednesday evenings, parents are asked to escort their children to their classes before church starts in the sanctuary so the children may begin their classes at 7:30 PM.
All children's classes are taught and administered by volunteers. This offers opportunity for ministering and putting into practice what is being learned. Resources and training are provided on a regular basis to keep our volunteers current and our curriculum fresh. We also facilitate a rotation schedule which allows volunteers to participate with the regular Sunday Morning/Wednesday Evening Worship services when not "on duty."
Solidrock Youth Group
"SOLID ROCK" is Living Word's Youth Group and includes all 7TH -12TH graders. On Wednesday evenings, in conjunction with our "Family Night" services, SOLID ROCK holds their own church service which includes Bible teaching/preaching, praise, worship, prayer, and ministry. Occasionally, SOLID ROCK views a video which focuses on current issues relevant to teens and presents them from a Christian perspective. Discussion, fellowship, and refreshments always accompany the videos.
 Outings and activities such as bowling, swimming, visits to amusements parks, skiing (water & snow), concerts, seminars, etc. are planned as often as possible throughout the year to offer social development with Christian peers and develop a sense of unity amongst the Youth Group members. All Solid Rockers are encouraged to attend these functions.
